Thanks for your question, Coop! Did you know that a wolf uses its sense of smell more than anything else to find prey? Its nose is so sensitive that it can smell prey that is more than a mile away. The wolf uses this sharp sense as a means to communicate with other pack members. Wolves rub up against each other, transferring their own scents back and forth-as well as any other scents that they collect. So, yes, wolves do roll in things that smell foul to us, partly as a way of bringing back messages to other pack members! Of course, it may also be that the smell of something "stinky" to us, may be like fine perfume to a wolf!
