: What are some possible ways to protect the eggs of resident swans?
Thanks for your question, Class! In an effort to protect nesting sites and eggs, the park has furnished floating nest platforms in key locations. These platforms help to prevent nests from being swept away when the water rises or flooding occurs, and are useful in keeping swan nests away from people. The park also closes areas of the park to visitors during key times in an effort to prevent nest disturbance.
