: Where did the Trumpeter Swan start? In other words, where do they spend their summers?

Hi Andrew! Please be aware that different groups of trumpeter swans have different migration routes, beginning and ending at different places. A swan that migrates to the Yellowstone area for the winter might spend its summer near Grand Praire, Alberta, Canada. The Yellowstone resident trumpeter swan spends its summers (and winters) in the Yellowstone region.
