Hi Jelica, Good question. You might expect room temperature to reach an excess of 900 degrees F. in a house fire. In a raging wildfire, many factors influence fire temperatures. Woody fuels burn hotter than grasses fuels. Fires of different habitats also have different fire patterns. Temperatures are highest above the surface, the height varying with vegetation, fuel and weather conditions.
