I am pleased to report to you that out of the 46 fires we had in Yellowstone during this fire season, none were caused by park visitors. People hiking and camping are being careful with fire in Yellowstone! The overwhelming majority of fires this season were caused by lightning and the others by downed power lines. This year they ranged in size from less than an acre to 9,140 acres
