: My family and I have been to Yellowstone a few times and every time we go, we see grizzlies in the Antelope Creek area. What can you tell me about this area? Why does it seem that this area is such a good area to spot grizzlies?

Hello Warren,

Thanks for the question. Antelope Creek is a good area to spot grizzlies at certain times of the year. The habitat including the food sources are perfect for them. The combination of open grasslands containing plants they eat the roots of, pocket gophers, and elk calves makes it prime grizzly habitat.
